Results of the 2012 Physicians' Presidential Poll

If the election were held today, which presidential candidate would win the physician vote?

Jackson & Coker’s latest survey, conducted from September 11th to September 28th, revealed some surprising results about the presidential race. One thing is for certain: Physician turnout for this November’s presidential election is expected to surpass 2008.

What you will discover in this year’s results:

-One candidate outpaced the other by 19 percentage points

-Women and employed physicians favor one candidate, while men and practice owners favor another

-There is a 15 percent difference between physicians wanting to “repeal and replace” the healthcare law and those wanting to “implement and improve”
